Grasslands play an incredibly important part in the global economy and environment. First, grasslands are often used for farmland, which is a significant contributor to the economy's agriculture sector; without the grassland, many nations around the world would not have enough food to survive. Due to the fact that the soil is deep and rich and produce quality crops and animals in the farm life. In addition, many of these areas are tourism destinations which contribute significantly to the economic stability of their nations. Grasslands also act as natural filters: the Florida Everglades' water (in the flooded grassland) is filtered naturally due to the surrounding grass.
